Watervale Lodge provides accommodation and outdoor
activities   in a tranquil, secure, and beautiful country
setting in Inchanga,   halfway between Durban and   Pietermaritzburg.

The comfortable en-suite rooms inside the Main Lodge and the   outside en-suite rooms, as well as the log cabins with separate   ablutions, carry the flavour of Africa, and are located in a quiet   and beautiful African setting.

Campers are welcome and can camp in the grassy areas close to   the log cabins and ablutions or anywhere else on the 25ha   surrounding the Lodge, all of which are surrounded by an electric   fence.

Wake up in the morning to the sounds of the abundant bird life   and take a walk in the grounds where you may be lucky enough   to encounter some of the small wildlife at Watervale, such as   Oribi and Duiker. A few Hamerkop families have also made   Watervale their home.

The more energetic at heart can take a leisurely 5km walk up   the valley, to take in the stunning views from the 850m high   crest whilst also enjoying the fascinating flora and fauna en   route.
